Routing of Wires in SOLIDWORKS
Routing a wires in Solidworks and customizing the wires according to our specification.
Creation of Wires has few steps to follow once the wires are created, we can able to use the same wires specifications for routing

STEP 1
- AS shown in the below image.
- Electrical tab will be present once it is add-on.
- With all these options routing process made possible.

STEP 2
- To add a wire a manual route path must be created.
- Those routing path can be a line or any clips or ducts.
- Routing path in the component like clips are any other components. Component axis line will net taken as a routing lines.

STEP 3
- Before going to start route.
- Components connection points needed to be added (To add a connection point checkout out previous blog Connection point adding).
- Only if the components have connection points. Start route option will be present.
- If the component doesn’t have connection points this Start Route option will not be available.

STEP 4
- Once the Start Route is selected. Routing properties will be opened.
- Routing properties will be present at the display tree manager.
- sub types of parameters can be set at this property tab

STEP 5
- Once routing properties are selected the Auto Route option will be shown.
- This the place where a point has to be selected first. That is the origin point of the wire and next lines of the routing path component clips axis lines must be selected.
- The first image shows the stub Dia and length where the point will be shown.
- The second image shows how the wires will be automatically created with the bend radius.
