Do you want a detailed analysis and real-world simulation capabilities? 3DEXPERIENCE SIMULIA is the tool for you. With a cloud-based setup and real-world capabilities like structural simulation, fluid dynamics, and more, you’ll have everything you need to let your imagination fly. Explore multiple designs and interactions, shorten the time to product launch and innovate on the fly, all with SIMULIA.

3DEXPERIENCE SIMULIA - Structural Analysis

Increase the strength and lifecycle of your products by performing advanced structural simulations in this software. With an ABAQUS Finite Element Analysis (FEA) solver, you can be confident of precise results and great value for your money.

Whether it is fluid flow, heat transfer, or anything in between, use Flow Simulation for all your fluid needs to achieve top results in design. Complex fluid scenarios with various characteristics can be properly simulated, and used in a wide range of industries and verticals.

3DEXPERIENCE SIMULIA - Plastic simulation

The critical part of injection moulding is the phase where the melted plastic flows into the mould. By simulating the flow in advance with Plastics Simulation, various associated defects are avoided. This helps directly avoiding wastage and rework. Further, plastics simulation also connects with SOLIDWORKS CAD, thereby empowering users to work on advanced projects.

What is SIMULIA?

SIMULIA, a Dassault Systèmes brand, delivers realistic simulation applications (such as ABAQUS) that enable users to explore the real-world behavior of product, nature, and life on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Where are my simulation results stored?

By default, the models and the simulation results are stored on the 3DEXPERIENCE tenant (or the cloud). That means that you and your colleagues can access your simulation data, material, results from anywhere at any time. Users can also choose to store only the results on the local hard drive.

Are the simulation roles integrated and associative with SOLIDWORKS?

Yes. The 3D Component designer role allows users to save and manage SOLIDWORKS geometry on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform directly from SOLIDWORKS. There is full associativity between the SOLIDWORKS CAD and the SIMULIA simulation model both saved and managed on the platform. Direct import of SOLIDWORKS files is also supported.
