XDrawing in 3DEXPERIENCE

XDrawing defines, organizes, and communicates manufacturing specifications directly in 3D. This can reduce mistakes, and automate downstream productions such as manufacturing and inspections.

The key features of the app are to define, organize, and communicate 3D annotations. It provides access to MBD and 2D drawing environments. It is a web app and you can access it from the Compass.

Step 1: Drag and drop xdrawing app to dashboard

Step2: Click open button for create a new drawing 

Step3: Click import option for insert part

Step4: Create 2D view by using view creation tab and click 2d drawing tool

Step 5: Click apply and repeat for creating new orthographic projections

Step 6: Click 3d view to create isometric view

Step 7: Click dimension symbol to create dimension

Step 8: Select faces to create what are the dimension you want

Here possible to create all type of annotation as mentioned above.

Step 9: Create 2D drawing by using xdrawing 

Step 10: Click sheet create icon and select sheet option as per your requirements

Step 11: Select 2d drawing icon to create views
