CNC Software has released the latest version of Mastercam for SolidWorks product. The most awaited Mastercam Turning operation is also now available with the latest version of Mastercam X7 for SolidWorks. Mastercam for SolidWorks will support SolidWorks 2010 and above version.
The biggest advantage of Mastercam for SolidWorks is that it enables the designer to complete CAD & CAM in the same SolidWorks window which in turn reduces man power and cycle time.
Arguably the biggest addition however is the addition of many Mastercam Lathe toolpaths including standard rough & canned rough, finish & canned finish, groove & canned groove, thread, plunge/turn, drill/tap and more.
Mastercam X7 for SolidWorks features new products and new functionality focused on delivering speed and efficiency for your machining jobs. Many of the enhancements seen in Mastercam X7 Mill have been brought over to Mastercam for SolidWorks such as the new Mastercam Simulator, new Tool Manager and stock model improvements including multi-core processing for all toolpaths.
The release can be found on CNC Software’s download page.
For any technical clarification or demo you can contact SIMTEK, authorized dealer for Mastercam. The greater advantage is that SIMTEK being Professional Channel Partner for SolidWorks has given CAM solution to many of SolidWorks Customer through Mastercam for SolidWorks Software.
