INDUCING FLUID FLOW ANIMATION THROUGH SOLIDWORKS COMPOSER
STEPS TO INDUCE FLUID FLOW ANIMATION THROUGH SOLIDWORKS COMPOSER:
STEP1: To induce fluid flow animation in through composer, a part model should be created along the pathway of fluid flow.
STEP2: Click on the part created for fluid flow, under the PROPERTIES – TEXTURE – Enable the check box.
STEP3: Under TEXTURE – browse for a texture image by double clicking onto MAP PATH.
(the selected texture appears around the part model)
STEP4: Under PROJECTION MODE Drop down – Select CYLINDRICAL option
STEP5: Go to WORKSHOPS TAB and select TEXTURE command, On the left pane under WORKSHOPS, Select – SET TEXTURE PROJECTION AXIS command and set the axis for texture projection.
STEP6: Go to HOME Tab – Select the ALIGN CAMERA command – Click on Front and Back to align the model to the front view.
STEP7: Select the TEXTURE TRANSLATION MODE command that is found next to SET TEXTURE PROJECTION AXIS command and select the pathway model and drag it linearly, you can see the texture would move along the model.
STEP8: Shift to ANIMATION MODE and record the flow animation by dragging the texture linearly with Camera Auto Keys mode turned ON.
